Setelah bertahun-tahun tidak
terdengar kabarnya, kini mendadak Stephenie Meyer menerbitkan dua novel
sekaligus, yaitu Life & Death
(Twilight edisi ulang tahun ke-10 yang juga berisi cerita a la fanfiction dimana
peran antara Edward dan Bella ditukar) yang kemudian disusul oleh The Chemist, terbit 8 November kemarin.
The Chemist yang mengambil genre thriller
ini berbeda seratus delapan puluh derajat dari novel-novel Stephenie Meyer
sebelumnya, dengan tidak adanya unsur supernatural dalam bentuk apapun dan hanya
berfokus pada espionage.
