Friday's Recommendation #3

Selamat hari Jum’at teman-teman.

Bulan ini banyak buku yang berhasil saya baca, walaupun tidak semuanya masuk kategori “amazing” dan patut direkomendasikan. Dan tidak semuanya berhasil saya review *menunduk malu*

Tapi ada satu buku yang berhasil menggugah hati nurani saya (halah). Dari beberapa buku yang saya baca, sepertinya ini yang paling berbobot. Mau tau? Ini dia.

Sudah pernah saya review di sini. Buku ini merupakan life-changing book buat saya. Semoga ada penerbit yang mau menerjemahkan ya, dan semoga dapet penerjemah yang terjemahannya luwes. Karena tulisan dalam bahasa aslinya indah sekali.

Selamat hari Jumat. Semarang lagi hujan gerimis. Nah setelah capek kuliah dan masih suasana hujan gini emang enaknya ndusel dalem selimut sambil baca buku favorit ya kaaaaan, apalagi ada semerbak bau teh yang masih mengepul di meja samping kasur :”>

Kali ini saya mau merekomendasikan buku karya Michael Grant buat menemani sore atau weekendmu nanti. Di Goodreads novel ini masuk dalam genre Dystopia - Science Fiction. Ratingnya pun lumayan, dan sepertinya belum diterjemahkan. Eh, beneran belum kan?

Bosan dengan genre dystopia yang berbumbu pembagian faksi? Kamu bisa coba baca buku ini. Bagaimana bisa anak-anak bertahan hidup tanpa adanya peran orang dewasa? (Karena saya di atas 15 tahun, saya sih nggak masuk hitungan). 

Menurut guru IPA saya dulu, mahkluk hidup itu beradaptasi. Jadi ketika mutasi merebak, para anak-anak itu pun ikut mengembangkan kekuatan luar biasa yang berpotensi menjadi perang di antara sesama mereka. Padahal musuh sebenarnya sedang menanti mereka, dan ketika mereka berumur lima belas, mereka pun akan ikut menghilang.
